Fiscal Year 1985-86 Long Bill provisions restricting agencies with related general fund and cash fund spending authority

Summary
Seller agencies which exceed their cash fund appropriations must reduce the related general fund appropriation by a corresponding amount. This restriction does not apply to federal funds or other statutorily-created funds which are not subject to legislative appropriation.

Fidelity bond coverage requirements for state chartered commercial banks

Summary
A state chartered commercial bank may continue to operate after expiration or cancellation of its blanket bond. However the bank may be subject to regulatory action, depending on the overall financial condition of the bank and the circumstances surrounding the loss or inability of the institution to procure or maintain adequate fidelity coverage.
