Training resources for new and existing Peace Officers are listed below:

2014 POST Manual

The 2014 manual is available in printable PDF format.

To register for an online course you will need your POST Identification (PID) number.  This is your unique six-digit ID number issued by POST.  Failure to use the POST ID number can result in you not receiving POST credit for course completion and your training record being incomplete.

DNA Evidence Collection and Retention for Colorado Peace Officers Training

POST Anti-Bias Internet Training Course

This online program meets the statutory training requirements of § 24-31-309(5), C.R.S.  Review our FAQ for more information about this unique course.

POST-Approved Academies

These basic, reserve, and refresher academies have received POST approval.

POST ADA Accommodation Policy

Applicants with disabilities may request reasonable accommodation prior to the certification examination testing process. Applicants requesting accommodation should submit a copy of the ADA Accommodation Form.

Peace Officer Training Program

The Peace Officer Training Program provides grant funding to subsidize training programs for Peace Officers in Colorado.
