This course is designed to acquaint the student/learner with the background and behavioral issues concerning those who prey on innocent victims. While the focus is partly on the crimes they commit, the course attempts to present factors to explain possible motivations why they commit these acts, and how knowing some of these factors may assist in pre-identification. Also to be covered are the profiles of sexual assault offenders, child molesters and serial killers.
