The 80-hour Supervisory Institute (SI) provides participants a foundation on which to build their future as law enforcement leaders. Instructors facilitate modules on practical leadership concepts and applications, strategies to improve communication skills, the prevailing risk management practices, agency and individual ethics for the manager, and performance evaluation. Students are required to apply all the principles learned in various activities and will give at least one short presentation.
