DENVER - Attorney General John W. Suthers announced today that the State of Colorado has received a tobacco litigation installment settlement payment of $86.4 million.
The payment of $86,411,134.93 was transferred from Colorado's escrow account to the Colorado State Treasurer's office. Including this payment, Colorado has received approximately $544,453,102 in payments from the tobacco litigation settlement, in addition to litigation costs.
The next payment is due April 2006.
