Attorney General Suthers Praises Senate Following Passage Of Gas Pricing Bill

DENVER – Colorado Attorney General John Suthers today relayed his appreciation to members of the State Senate following a 25-9 vote to accept the original version of House Bill 1208:

“Through the process of debate and sound reasoning, Colorado’s state senators have wisely rejected their earlier amendment to this important piece of legislation. Just days ago, a significant portion of our state was facing the prospect of eliminating below cost sales altogether. Now, a bill that will save Coloradans money on gas and other products is making its way to Governor Ritter’s desk. I look forward to watching his signature bring a depression-era statute into the 21st century.”
