DENVER — Colorado Attorney General John Suthers announced today that his office has filed a consent decree that transfers the assets of Fired Up For Kids, a Denver-based organization to a successor organization, Colorado Firefighter Calendar, Inc. Under the consent decree, Fired Up For Kids has agreed to dissolution under the Colorado Revised Nonprofit Corporations Act.

DENVER — Colorado Attorney General John Suthers announced today that his office has filed a lawsuit against Full Spirit Ministries, a Fort Collins-based charity; its founder, CEO and president, Richard M. Thebo (DOB: 9/11/1940); and several of the charity’s board members on suspicion that they misused the charity’s assets and made misrepresentations while soliciting donations.

DENVER — Colorado Attorney General John Suthers announced today that a Larimer County judge has sentenced Phillip R. Trujillo (DOB: 7/21/1949) of Fort Collins to 12 years in prison for his role in a running $5.7 million investment-fraud scheme. A Larimer County jury convicted Trujillo of six felonies in mid-January.
